The M.A. “Studies in Orthodox Theology” is a postgraduate degree offered by the Department of Theology in collaboration with the Department of Social Theology and Study of Religion of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens. The programme aspires to provide its participants with specialized knowledge and expertise in all aspects of Christian-Orthodox Church and its theology, in the context of our modern world. Among the programme’s main objectives are: (a) the promotion of academic research pertaining to the Easten-Orthodox Church, in its engagement with the contemporary world; (b) the systematic development of inter-Christian and inter-religious dialogues amidst the various religious, political and socio-cultural challenges of our modern multi-religious and multi-cultural era.
